My God, Thank You For Doing Your Work In Me

October 13 Scripture Meditations Based on John 7-8 Key Verse – John 7:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR DOING YOUR WORK IN ME Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your perfect will Despite my sinfulness-tendency along holiness’ hill… Help me to be faithful while in Your care I keep still By Your grace, my role I can fulfill. Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your assured salvation Despite my transgression-acts along cleanliness’ sanctification… Help me to be repentant while I seek Your transformation By Your power, my heart I submit for Your conversion. Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your strengthening righteousness Despite my iniquity-guilt along redemption’s forgiveness… Help me to be sincere while showing my submissiveness By Your mercy, my soul I entrust for Your graciousness. Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your authoritative command Despite my disobedience-rebellion along stewardship’s demand… Help me to be diligent while labouring in the promised land By Your guidance, my body I yield to Your errand. Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your purposive aim Despite my worthlessness-vanity along worldliness’ game… Help me to be persistent while Your promises I claim By Your Word, my goal I align toward Your fame. Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your heavenly kingdom Despite my slothfulness-negligence along routine’s boredom… Help me to be spiritual while enjoying religious freedom By Your prudence, my perspective I sharpen by Your wisdom. Thank You for doing Your work in me within Your eternal commitment Despite my arrogance-apathy along humanism’s involvement… Help me to be biblical while pursuing for meaningful fulfillment By Your love, my satisfaction I settle through Your commitment.
