MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR DIRECTING MY WAY
Thank You for directing my way through Your guidance
Toward righteousness of good work’s abundance
By Your ready deliverance
Truly perfecting me with Your forbearance.
Thank You for directing my way through Your graciousness
Toward fruitfulness midst barrenness
By Your provision of bountifulness
Truly supplying me against scarcity’s nothingness.
Thank You for directing my way through Your instruction
Toward obedience showing real dedication
By Your love as powerful motivation
Truly teaching me to do Your will despite my limitation.
Thank You for directing my way through Your light
Toward holiness in the pursuit for a triumphant divine fight
By Your armor, bearing victory-might
Truly illumining me to reflect Your beauty so bright.
Thank You for directing my way through Your Word
Toward faith-strengthening using Your Spirit’s sword
By Your leading as my Saviour and Lord
Truly upholding me against worldliness’ cord.
Thank You for directing my way through Your counsel
Toward decisions based on Your epistle
By Your precepts wherein I safely nestle
Truly guarding me from foolishness’ morsel.
