MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR DELIGHTING IN ME Thank You for delighting in me, though I’m not deserving Because You love me with Your mercy that’s securely saving Being Your redeemed child by Your grace so reviving… Blessed am I bountifully through Your provisions I’m receiving. Thank You for delighting in me, though I’m not worthy Because You reach out to me through Your compassion that’s truly lengthy Being Your adopted heir by Your riches so wealthy… Blessed am I abundantly, making me spiritually healthy. Thank You for delighting in me, though I’m not faithful Because You care for me with Your comfort that’s undoubtedly helpful Being Your chosen steward by Your calling so purposeful… Blessed am I definitely as You let me enjoy life that’s peaceful. Thank You for delighting in me, though I’m not perfect Because You know me with Your wisdom that’s beyond human intellect Being Your sanctified saint by Your righteousness so direct… Blessed am I assuredly along discipleship inside Your will’s project. Thank You for delighting in me, though I’m not able Because You strengthen me with Your might that’s powerfully capable Being Your commissioned servant by Your mandate so inescapable… Blessed am I dutifully in Your act, enabling me to be responsible. Thank You for delighting in me, though I’m not yet mature Because You develop me with Your molding that’s greatly the best gesture Being Your sent-out soulwinner by Your instruction so clear for faith-venture… Blessed am I joyously while upheld by Your standards of holy posture.
