My God, Thank You For Communing With Me

January 7 Scripture Meditations Based on Genesis 18-20 Key Verse – Genesis 18:33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham…
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR COMMUNING WITH ME Thank You for communing with me… Appearing unto me with Your loving authority In the plains of my prayer-supplication’s serenity While I lift up my eyes, looking unto Your assurance certainty And rest in Your comforting tranquility. Thank You for communing with me… Meeting me with Your quick readiness In the ground of my frustration-loneliness While I beg for favour in Your sight along neediness And ask that You hasten to help me in my broken-heartedness. Thank You for communing with me… Setting before me Your sufficing provisions In the tent of my cravings afflicted by dissatisfaction While I yearn for Your pleasures to fill my contentment-portion And seek Your surety of resources for my blessed function. Thank You for communing with me… Commanding me to keep Your holy way In the mountain of my life-building pursuits everyday While I believe that there is nothing too hard for You as You say And trust You with Your time appointed of no delay. Thank You for communing with me… Forgiving me with Your pardoning mercy In the heart-cave of my very grievous sins’ deficiency While I repent toward Your righteousness-fervency And turn from wickedness-occupancy. Thank You for communing with me… Compassing me with Your gentle chastisement In the door of my disobedience locked by pride’s entrapment While I depart from consuming iniquity’s judgment And escape to Your offered peaceful preservation-settlement. Thank You for communing with me… Restoring me into Your warm fellowship In the soul-gate of my integrity that follows Your leadership While I fear You reverentially, honouring You in my stewardship And submit to Your correction toward praise-filled worship.
