My God, Thank You For Comforting Me

Thank You for comforting me in my sacrifices So that I can subdue laxity-inconveniences Never smitten down by carnal curses… Keep me trusting in Your strong mighty braces. Thank You for comforting me in my shame So that I can face embarrassment-blame Never kicked down by lustful game… Keep me committed to Your holy missionary flame. Thank You for comforting me in my submission So that I can prevail over pride-distraction Never torn down by selfish attention… Keep me sincere through Your exemplary humble action. Thank You for comforting me in my stress So that I can vanquish difficulty-distress Never trampled down by fleshly buttress… Keep me cleaving to Your firm protective fortress. Thank You for comforting me in my serenity So that I can deal with loneliness-sensitivity Never broken down by emotional instability… Keep me settled in Your assured salvation-security.
