My God, Thank You For Clothing Me With Your Delights

March 4 Scripture Meditations Based on 2Samuel 1-4

Key Verse – 2Samuel 1:24 …Who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR CLOTHING ME WITH YOUR DELIGHTS Thank You for clothing me with Your delights’ provisions While beautifying me with Your ornaments’ presentations So that I can rejoice against distressful situations Through Your loving compassion in my supplications. Thank You for clothing me with Your delights’ graciousness While warming me in Your sweetness So that I can continue despite weariness Through Your prevailing kindness in my prayerfulness. Thank You for clothing me with Your delights’ wonders While instructing me by Your command-orders So that I can obey midst distracting offenders Through Your guiding standards in my worship among truth-finders. Thank You for clothing me with Your delights’ mercy While enclosing me in Your pity’s fervency So that I can appreciate more Your clemency Through Your correcting discipline in my laxity’s leniency. Thank You for clothing me with Your delights’ glow While enlightening me by Your righteousness of radiant show So that I can follow along faith’s-loyalty, never shallow Through Your cleansing forgiveness in my sinfulness-caused sorrow. Thank You for clothing me with Your delights’ glory While leading me by Your triumphant victory So that I can vanquish guilt-misery Through Your empowering conversion in my transformation story.
