My God, Thank You For Calling Me

November 1 Scripture Meditations Based on 1Corinthians 1-2 Key Verse – 1Corinthians 1:2 ...To them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord…
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR CALLING ME Thank You for calling me to be Your blessed saint Thru Your salvation-grace that doesn’t faint To bring me to heaven far from hell’s wicked taint… As a divine citizen, striving to be Christ-like against flesh-complaint. Thank You for calling me to be Your sanctified lady Thru Your redemption-mercy that doesn’t cast anybody To purge me from sinfulness’ malady… As a new creation, pursuing to share Gospel with everybody. Thank You for calling me to be Your privileged chosen Thru Your sovereign wisdom that doesn’t lessen To position me toward being biblically faith-risen… As a justified person, enjoying truths to which I eagerly listen. Thank You for calling me to be Your beloved daughter Thru Your regeneration-blood that doesn’t falter To ransom me midst iniquity-shut shelter… As a believing Christian, endeavouring to be spiritually better. Thank You for calling me to be Your entrusted steward Thru Your faithfulness-grant that doesn’t discard To regard me with instructions’ safeguard… As a grateful worshipper, exalting Your name till heaven upward. Thank You for calling me to be Your adopted child Thru Your inheritance-covenant that doesn’t go earthy-wild To secure me against being lustfully beguiled… As a submissive learner, following what for me is eternally styled. Thank You for calling me to be Your blessed servant Thru Your vision-fulfillment that doesn’t tolerate “I can’t” To minister unto me in assisting others to fill that which is vacant… As a surrendered worker, labouring according to what You want.
