My God, Thank You For Building Me Up By Your Purpose

March 12 Scripture Meditations Based on 1Kings 5-8 Key Verse – 1Kings 5:5 And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BUILDING ME UP BY YOUR PURPOSE Thank You for building me up toward virtuous transformation… …by Your purpose’s foundation Against adversary’s protest and opposition Amidst evil occurrences bringing persecution Along my devotion to You with sincere dedication. Thank You for building me up toward earnest prayerfulness… …by Your purpose’s steadfastness Against unbelief’s attacks and destructiveness Amidst mocking skepticism of humanism’s godlessness Along my dependence in You with full submissiveness. Thank You for building me up toward ministry-involvement… …by Your purpose’s advancement Against worldliness’ invitation for monetary betterment Amidst material comforts offered by earthly investment Along my desire for You with bliss-filled contentment. Thank You for building me up toward discipleship certainty… …by Your purpose’s sovereignty Against pandemic’s disaster and calamity Amidst economic crises around financial difficulty Along my delight in Your assured security. Thank You for building me up toward holiness’ radiance… …by Your purpose’s guidance Against waywardness’ control and ignorance Amidst intellectual assistance, towering in arrogance Along my duty from You entrusted with divine endurance. Thank You for building me up toward becoming a Gospel seed-sower… …by Your purpose’s power Against compromises’ failure and doubt-shower Amidst weak conviction, bringing Your standards lower Along my direction to Your path of blooming testimony’s flower.
