My God, Thank You For Being Pleased To Bless Me
February 3 Scripture Meditations Based on Numbers 24-27
Key Verse – Numbers 24:1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING PLEASED TO BLESS ME
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my sincere seeking
According to Your vision’s working
While You open my eyes from blindness of sin-lurking
For me to behold Your truth that deceit is blocking.
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my diligent hands
According to Your guiding commands
While You smite my slothfulness of murmuring demands
For me to labour well in Your service-lands.
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my devout zealousness
According to Your inspiration’s goodness
While You fire-up my dedication-earnestness
For me to bear fruits of ministry-effectiveness.
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my teachable heart
According to Your principled lessons always right from the start
While You uphold my conviction to resist perversions’ dart
For me to stay in Your will, never to depart.
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my steadfast spirituality
According to Your strength’s stability
While You empower my resolutions toward eternity
For me to prosper in Your work of life-changing opportunity.
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my yielded soul
According to Your mercy’s compassion that makes me whole
While You mold my faith in performing Your assigned role
For me to fulfill my part in Your appointed goal.
Thank You for being pleased to bless me and my grateful stewardship
According to Your instruction’s directorship
While You harness my skills by Your leadership
For me to live for You with joyful followership in our relationship.
