My God, Thank You For Being My Good Shepherd

August 23 Scripture Meditations Based on Amos 1-3 Key Verse– Amos 3:12 Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING MY GOOD SHEPHERD Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my great King Who saves me from sinfulness’ sinking… Miraculously transforming my heart toward spiritual trekking Thus, I’m heaven-bound with divine making. Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my compassionate God Who cares for me despite worldliness’ rod… Marvelously redeeming my soul through Your blood Thus, I’m ransomed with adopted status-nod. Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my gracious Father Who provides for me when economy’s crises bother… Magnanimously meeting my needs whatever is the weather Thus, I’m contented with bountiful blessings to gather. Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my wise Lord Who enlightens me through Your Scriptures’ Word… Magnificently illumining my mind against humanistic sword Thus, I’m converted with eternal record. Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my protective Security Who hides me against calamity’s adversity… Mightily helping my faith to advance by Your tenacity Thus, I’m settled with truthful certainty. Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my radiant Light Who leads me toward goodness’ height… Mindfully directing my steps to tread upon what’s right Thus, I’m guided with omniscient sight. Thank You for being my good Shepherd and my all Sufficiency Who blesses me midst complacency’s persistency… Mercifully bringing my prayer to Your altar of clemency Thus, I’m filled with satisfied fervency.
