My God, Thank You For Being Compassionate To Me

September 22 Scripture Meditations Based on Mark 7-8 Key Verse– Mark 8:2 I have compassion on the multitude…
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING COMPASSIONATE TO ME Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your mercy Even though I’m sinful along carnal tendency Although a transgressor of iniquity’s potency… Constantly, You forgive my confessed error by Your clemency. Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your graciousness Even though I’m proud along vain haughtiness Although arrogant with boastful self-righteousness… Constantly, You humble my stubbornness. Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your care Even though I’m unconcerned along apathetic stare Although a liar along deceitful dare… Constantly, You check my spiritual welfare. Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your deliverance Even though I’m unfaithful along unbelief’s endurance Although doubtful of Your assurance… Constantly, You uphold my heart for devoted perseverance. Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your might Even though I’m disobedient along commandments I fight Although defiant to standards’ height … Constantly, You maneuver my will for prayer-delight. Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your wisdom Even though I’m ignorant along heavenly kingdom Although foolish in turning from truthful freedom… Constantly, You settle my mind from useless boredom. Thank You for being compassionate to me with Your presence Even though I’m struggling along victory’s essence Although a loser in the eyes of worldly license... Constantly, You lead my steps toward Your holy iridescence.

Love the third verse and your openness. It is not in our perfection as a Christian, because we are not perfect, but in God’s righteousness and perfection, that we are sanctified. Yes, His spirit seeks our spiritual welfare and forever I am grateful of this. Though I fail, He never does! God bless you, sweet saint of God!
