My God, Thank You For Admonishing Me

July 12 Scripture Meditations Based on Ecclesiastes 9-12 Key Verses – Ecclesiastes 12:12-13 … By these, … be admonished… Fear, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR ADMONISHING ME Thank You for admonishing me to do my best With Your love, reminding me against laxity’s rest So that I can win over convenience-test… My heart now nestles in Your compassionate zest. Thank You for admonishing me to flee from sinfulness With Your holiness, reproving me against sins’ destructiveness So that I can avoid worldliness-filthiness… My soul now clings to Your functional righteousness. Thank You for admonishing me to avoid hypocrisy With Your truth, rebuking me against sincerity’s fallacy So that I can vanquish falsity-deficiency… My mind now seeks Your Word’s supremacy. Thank You for admonishing me to uphold biblical Christianity With Your grace, exhorting me against religiosity’s vanity So that I can overcome earthliness-futility… My spirit now depends on Your revival joviality. Thank You for admonishing me to practice genuine stewardship With Your mercy, scolding me against shallow zeal-showmanship So that I can combat slothfulness-partnership… My submission now yields to Your authoritative leadership. Thank You for admonishing me to follow divine instruction With Your command, pulling me against pride’s fortification So that I can conquer disobedience-temptation… My will now surrenders to Your guiding direction. Thank You for admonishing me to optimize ministry engagement With Your help, driving me against compromises’ entrapment So that I can participate in great commission-fulfillment… My faith now ascends toward church involvement and kingdom advancement.
