January 14 Scripture Meditations Based on Genesis 46-50

Key Verse – Genesis 46:1 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR ACCEPTING MY OFFERED SACRIFICES Thank You for accepting my offered sacrifices of sincere gratitude With Your approval for my faith-anchored attitude That strengthens my trust-fortitude Midst challenges in the ministry with every trial-vicissitude. Thank You for accepting my offered sacrifices of Christ’s gearing With Your righteousness for my holy faith’s soaring That upholds my soul against guilt-caused torturing Midst frustrations in discipleship’s fruit-bearing. Thank You for accepting my offered sacrifices of humble presentation With Your grace for my constant purification That grants my sins’ forgiveness-provision Midst pride in meekness-practice and performance-perfection. Thank You for accepting my offered sacrifices of joyful praises With Your gladness for triumphant worship my heart expresses That lifts up my commitment against laxity’s forces Midst discontentment in worldliness’ success. Thank You for accepting my offered sacrifices of truthful excellence With Your standard for my effective and efficient diligence That corrects my complacency and negligence Midst sluggardness in working, devoid of competence. Thank You for accepting my offered sacrifices of honourable dignity With Your commendation for my dedication’s intensity That blesses my obedience of love for You with honesty Midst provings in abiding in Your will of nourishing spirituality.
