My God

Before I ask, He answers
Before I pray, He hears
He dries my ever falling tears
And all my loads He bears.

He lifts my head from troubles
He shields me from the foe
He keeps me from unending woe
Grief I will no more know.

God my Father, my Helper
My Confidant, my Friend
His ear forever will He lend
My Savior till the end.
