My God

I prayed to Thee,
For mine eyes to see,
Thy ever constant presence
On every creation.

This eyes to see no hate,
Blanketed by grace,
With heart full of love,
Only to give.

I prayed for this heart
Though bruised and hurt
Broken and fragile
To keep loving.

I prayed this life I live,
Be a sacrifice unto thee
To keep praising Thee,
As long as I breathe.

Defiled, broken, shattered
Faced with storm
Yet my soul shall praise
For You are faithful.

My Lord, Your love heals me.
Your faithfulness I rely,
In You only
Alone I have my being.

My Lord, My God
Even in my storm
I shall praise You!
This all blessings in disguise.

My cross, a lease to keep me bound to You
That I may not stray away from You
This is my blessing and honour
That You God Almighty chose to see me.

Therefore when My worries drown me
And compels me for life force to leave me
Remind me this, I only have this life
To Praise You and live for You.
 Remind me I'm Yours!

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your faith in the Lord through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
