My Glory Days

No one will listen
No one will hear
Can’t get it to stop
Just let it drop

I’m tired and confused
For once hear me out
To speak my mind
To get it all behind

Of all the times I’ve hated most
The regretful years
The difficult past
Can you please just let me pass?

Get it to go away
Out of my life
Out of my head
And just let me go to bed

Get back to the good times
That I wish I could have
That I am at now
So I can take a bow

To finish this show
The end of the play
The end of the story
To get me to my glory
