My Glorious Secret Garden
In the daybreak and half light comes a whisper
of my own peacefulness and enduring calm.
The soothing beauty of this place puts me
into a warm and introspective place.
Lovely images delight me as I am surrounded
by Mother Nature's offspring and her wondrous beauty.
I will take pen in hand and craft depictions of the grace
I feel and deep thoughts that amaze me in this quiet place.
My secret garden has a path that only I can follow.
It is beyond the rainbow and beyond all the mundane
things that life expresses in the ordinary realm.
I inhale all of the scents and fragrances that are offered
and I feel painted with a glorious array of colors.
Now if I find your love you may be invited to spend a dream
with me in this special place and we will drift our thoughts.
I will welcome you to the wondrous beauty of my special garden.
