My Glassheart Is a Braveheart
My glassheart is brittle,
It is fragile -when I get emotional
When I am hurt
It breaks so easily and shatters
And when I am holding onto my pride
My glassheart is hard - it will not let anyone in
Even though they all see through it
So they say
It's a cold heart, cold like glass
cold?
well i have worn this heart, bare on my sleeve
This heart has taken huge falls
Been through falls ,winters and storms
that have shattered it to pieces
Cracks on its body
Splinters on the ground
But it gathers up all the pieces
Picks itself up - Mends
Hides the cracks, the heartaches, heartburns and carries on
MY GLASS HEART IS A BRAVE HEART
