My Girl

The dragon rears its head, I remember these teeth I remember this breath this sulfur. In the teeth I recall, The last time I faced this I kissed you gently on the head And said I would miss you. I saw you there, in those feverish dreams as I wrapped the moth-worn linen and tried to sleep on the stones.
