My Garden Pool

It is my delight.
To visit every night.
My garen pool.
Many creatures large and small.
Make it a fascinating call.

A skating spider skims the lake.
A water boatman in it's wake.
What was that?
A bubble and a splash.
A dinosaur with a spotty tail!
No a lizard, without fail.

On the shore line tadpoles grow.
Some with legs a nozzle show.
Such magic I see.
In my little garden sea.

A shadow sweeping by.
It's a fish. Oh my!
Beautiful and shy.
It's scales reflect the light.
Iridicence, silver and blue.
With a glorious hew.

Frogs and snails, and many more.
Congregate on the shore.
I go there to look and drool.
In my lovely garden pool.
