My Funeral

My Funeral

Escorting my corpse,
The funeral procession,
I cease to exist,
No more than a cinerary,
Lived whole life as immortal !

Full marks for an excellent tanka with an apt pivot: I cease to exist. Also the last line is worth thinking over. gl in the contest, Upma. // paul

The key word is "immortal" there is the wisdom and the merit of your Tanka! A 7. Dr. Upma.
