my friends are as disillusioned as I am
I turned off my phone today
weary of humdrum conversations
not wanting to hear anything about elections either
I do not believe in elections in the USA
until they abolish the electoral college
the words election and democracy are jokes
no other country in the world has an electoral college
my friends are are as redundant as I am
Some might have tried to call me
But most are disillusioned and disgruntled
Many want to talk politics
I despise politics here
they are a joke
My phone may stay off a little longer
