My Friends
It's nice to have some real close friends,
with whom my heart can share,
my hopes, my dreams, as well as joys,
and know how much they really care!
I take great comfort knowing,
whenever I might slip,
they're like a bright light, in the fog,
that guides my life's wee ship!
The certainty is, without exception,
at times of mirth or strife,
these folks are at at my beck and call,
for my entire life!
It's nice to have such loyal friends,
I don't hesitate to say!
During the good times and the bad times,
my faithful friends are here to stay!
