"my Friend My Heart"

We first met long ago when we were young.
On a school playground where birds and bees
                            first sung.
We ran and played and held each others hand.
As we grew-up we wrote"I LUV U"in the sand.

Days went by and our love growed strong.
We loved each other so much nothing could go wrong.

Marriage and children was a long time dream.
Everything changed life was not what it seemed.

Time passed we quit looking at each other and
                       never spoke a word.
The words I LOVE YOU were never heard.

So please read this and make sure you understand .
Stop,think before you go any farther is it the right 
                   woman or man.

Andrea Dietrich February 15, 2011 at 2:34 PM gosh, teresa, is this biographical? I hope not! anyway, it doesn't seem to matter sometimes whether a person knows for sure if it's the right person. Look at the characters in this poem, who knew each other a lifetime. Too bad what happens in marriages sometimes, isnt' it?
