My Friend Is a Cactus

My Friend is a Cactus

my friend has an unquenchable need
he is filled with an envious greed
he's green with desire
with an eye to admire
the undeniable fact is
my friend is a cactus

my friend is covered in thorns
his tongue it poisons and scorns
his lust will not tire
he will burn you like fire
the matter of fact is
my friend is a cactus

my friend likes to bask in the sun
of the greatness of things that he's done
he'll talk all day long
bout how he's never wrong
as bitter as the fact is
my friend is a cactus

my friend is a cactus in a desolate sea
of the sands of betrayal and two-faceity
he has no regret
you get what you get
and I know he's aware just what the impact is
but he still chooses to be like a cactus
