My Friend In Combat

Hello once again my long lost friend, Up here on the vast second floor. What’s up? What’s new? How’s everything going? Are you still here to fight in a war? I see you haven’t changed a bit, still standing strong, Standing all proud and chip full of flare, Still doing what you do, with a beautiful view, And doing it without any care. Well, I might need your help, once again in this room, Your help to keep my mind sane, Your help to assist me with this terminal ache, To help take away all this pain. Can you hold the computer, phone, cup, and some pens, Can you hold my brown leather briefcase? And can you put up with my typing in this battle for truth, My trustworthy desk in this ruthless workplace.
