My Friend Demetra
We knew a woman named Demetra
We hadn't known her for long. She came to a Place
We belong, and she was a powerful person that strong.
So full of life.
So full of Spirit.
So full of fun.
She struggled with many illnesses including Cancer.
But she was the bravest one we knew.
October 16 was her last day on this earth. And, we're
so sad she's gone. But she gave us strength to carry on.
We're having a party in her honor. We know she will be there.
We want to give her a big send off. So, she'll know we care.
This poem is a dedication to a wonderful and thoughtful person.
Who's not with us today. But we will see you once again in that
Special way.
So, here's fare thee well from Friends
