My Friend
You are my friend
Even though
I've never heard your voice.
You are my friend
Because I simply
Made that choice.
We've never met
But you still fill my world
With poetry, smiles, and laughter.
Even when my world turns dark
You are just and email away.
You are my friend because I know
From you, honesty there will always be.
An ocean separates us
But poetry will always bring us together.
And you will always
Be my friend.
