My Friend

Would if I’m the only friend
Who you share your dreams with 
And your secrets too

That would be the ultimate gift
That I would share with you

An open heart
A nonjudgmental view
Encouragement

And a heart so true

And suppose one day we argue
I would never betray your trust 
By bringing up your secrets
Just because we cussed and fussed

Because sometimes friends disagree
But we must feel safe under the
Umbrella of security

I know you and
You know me

I KNOW you
    And
You KNOW me
