My Friend
Mother, daughter, sister, friend,
She is all that and even then,
She is more than words can describe,
When I’m around her I get a good vibe.
I love her even though,
She doesn’t like the words that flow,
Out of my mouth all day;
She always listens to what I have to say.
She is someone that I love,
Her spirit’s gentle like a dove,
About me she always cares,
She hugs me anywhere.
Mother, daughter, sister, friend,
I hope our friendship will never end,
Of one thing I am quite sure,
I am really glad to have met her.
She turns my frown upside down,
By sometimes acting like a clown,
She makes me glad that I’m still here,
To me our friendship is quite dear.
I’m glad to have her as my friend,
Our friendship is strong like the wind,
And I end this poem at last to say,
I thank God for my friend every day.
