My Friend
Your lifetime is the best of all times
Never has the sky been so blue
And the earth so generous
The flowers have never been so fragrant
And love so astonishing
When has human thought
Been so deep, our knowledge so vast?
Being a genius is not required
It's enough to love others
More than yourself
And you'll gain everything
Care for the world more than for yourself
And you'll be a savior
My friend: your lifetime
Is indeed the best of all times
And the reason is simple: you're alive.
