Jacqueline, My Mother, My Hero

You are my hero forevermore-forever because you did not give up never-never; Mom, you are my hero: so brave with courage and kindness ever ! You were sick for years but never complained life was hard and there were days strained; Mom, you will always be my hero: and each day you were joyful and not constrained ! Though you had to carry heavy oxygen tanks we went on many adventures- so thanks; oh, yes Mom, you are my hero: and we talked lots with you filling in the blanks ! And when the end came you said let me go your Dad is waiting up above- you know; Mom you are my hero: I whispered okay- oh, what a dagger blow !
