My Forever Family
When I come home your always there,
So happy to see me with those,
Droopy ears and beautiful eyes,
That only have love for me.
When I walk in the door they're,
Jumping up and down barking in,
Competition with your feline sister,
Who just wants to rub up against my leg.
Happy are the times when I'm with,
My Forever family of furry four,
Legs and cold noses.
One day walking up to the door,
I hear a howling sound inside,
I know what that means then,
I hear the whining and my heart breaks.
I see his sister who lies still, not moving.
I lift her she is so cold.
He licks my face telling me,
That He misses her too.
