My Forever Divine Lover
”I have loved thee with an everlasting love.”*
Such verily encapsulates the sovereign covenant with me
of my dearest Lover, my SAVIOUR-LORD-GOD
transcending sweetest angelic Valentine expressions
undoubtedly surpassing sacred marriage vows
since it goes beyond altar-date’s fidelity pledges
to prevail over reverberating “till death do us part…”
None can separate us in any way
Since He owns me, my soul never leaving
By His compassion, in His will I stay
To Him, I keep on steadfastly cleaving.
Bound by His faithfulness of caring might
Nothing can sever our relationship
His grand promise is sealed graciously tight
To secure me within His partnership.
“I love thee, because Thou first loved me.”**
Thus expresses my heart to HIM
while in vibrant fellowship I offer to Him loyal trust
made possible by His grace and mercy
as I abide in His will while ministering to others
gratefully proclaiming Christ's Gospel with kindness
along faith’s performance, propelled by His love.
*Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
