My Foolish Heart

My foolish heart!
Stop beating so nervously and quickly!
I have no more strength to bear this pain,
everything is quite plain.
My eyes have become tearless,
my arms have become helpless,
I have no more strength of will,
I am so tired and ill.
There is no more sense to forgive,
there is no more sense to believe.
My foolish heart, stop trembling
just because of one call from him,
the call which has broken the silence
and looked like a violence.
My foolish heart! Do you hear me?
I will not allow you to speak.
I don't give a damn that I can't sleep.
I don't want to love him any more.
What for? All we had was before.
My foolish heart! Keep quiet!
I am very tired, I am not desired.
My foolish heart! Look at me!
I've let him go,
now you let him go too.
