My Fondest Memory
I still remember that moment
It is so fresh and clear in my head
I remember how it soothed me
Calmed me and bid me to enjoy life's ride
Why, it was a moment of miracle
A moment lived not by the many
A moment, worth of all its glory
A moment, which shall remain etched in my soul
As long as I do breathe on Earth
Pray, it was when I saw the face of Truth
Truth, so handsome, so good, so caring
Truth, so radiant, so fiery, a glowing ball of power!
To Truth I did ask no question
I did only ask Him to forgive me of my tantrums
Life is not worth being taken as a hassle
Life is meant to be lived, even if it is a battle
To Truth I showed my most passionate feminine love
To Truth I became a most reasonable being
One who would act calmly
One who would act as an elevated soul
Truth promised to save my soul,
When the bells of death would chime
Truth bid me to sleep
Truth erased from me, my toils!
To Truth I still hold on to
Even if it remains a mere memory
A memory of grace, which happened once
Once, when the storm soared!
Why when the cold and the emptiness takes over
The memory of Truth comes back to my mind
And bids me to remember of my own convictions
Life is not to be fretted for, life is to be lived as it is!
Life is to be accepted, to be taken as an opportunity
An opportunity to spew the best of us
So that someday, when Truth will show itself again
We shall be facing it boldly and confidently!
Why, my fondest memory is such
My fondest memory is a blessing
My fondest memory, my life's battery
Yes, the power which helps me be!
