My Flower

roses are red this is true 
but they are also blue
white, black, and lilac too
many colors just for you

and if our love is a rose
then you are the flower
blooming in every hour 
perfection from head to toes

so like a rose love will grow
This I will always know
care for the seeds we sow
so a harvest we will tow 

and if you are the flower
then I will be the thorn
to your protection sworn
with all my might and power

you are so full of kindness
you are my happiness 
a cure for loneliness 
you hold a special fondness 

i hope you never forget 
we both are many things
seeing what each day brings
but in stone our love is set
