My First Poem

I seek to find love I took my heart and built a border around it, so only I could hide from those who truly longed to become my hearts protector. it seemed I was afraid to become hurt by someone other then me. Though I still seek love. I fell in love with one man before. He was as sweet as the smell of a rose. He was more then just a story told. Since his story was like a whisper in the wind. He stole my heart as I stole his. A perfect crime we committed together. But I thought my seeking was over as I thought he was the knight and protector of my heart. But right after that he decided to leave. I then craved him a week after he left. I was still in love with him. But maybe I was just in love with someone needing me. it seemed as the once upon a time fairytale I always hoped for. I found my heart was is missing. I then asked myself who would have it. The answer was plain to see. The one I fell in love with. I remain the one still seeking for love. Though I have no clue on what love is, I remain in love with him I long for his touch Wishing his lips were lingering on mine As I feel so close yet far from him. My heart is open for him and only him. Maybe that's too cliché for a stupid love poem.
