My First Day

They put me in a stupor. The voices sway. It was sort of nice. Until I could hear them say... We will give you guilt. We will cherish your desperation. We will make sure to wake you up first. And make you get in line last. For the help that you need- Will not be the help you will be given. Excuse me, Sir? But what are you doing with my blood? I guess I can sleep knowing- I will be tomorrow’s sacrifice.
