My Feet
As I look to my feet
They head one direction
My heart though …
Turns to an other
How does one deal
With such conflict?
I have come to decide
I will turn where My heart is bound
It seeks the love
The guidance and wisdom
That only God can give
In His endless desire for us
He gave us His love
Through Jesus His son
He gave us guidance and wisdom
By means of His Holy Spirit
Where my feet have taken me
Has only been struggles
And much pain
Far more than I care to endure
So I choose to go
Where my heart is bound
I turn to God
For He has always been there
With me ... during my
Unhappy times ... He waits
Waiting … waiting for me
To turn to Him
