My Feelings Kept No Scores

My heart without you would only know poverty
I have no starvation, though, for I covet thee
My soul without you would die of thirst
This cup is full of every drink better than the first
My eyes never seeing you would wish for blindness over sight
Luckily, my vision is consumed with your never-ending light
My hands would be broken had they never held one of yours
With every touch given and reciprocated my feelings have kept no scores

I do not know what my life would be like if I could not see love in everything the way that I do. I have so much love for the people I've met and had the privilege to read from this site. With a big smile A.S.
