My Feelings Are Uniquely My Own

People do not know how you feel.
They say they do, but they don’t.
Our feelings are uniquely our own;
you have yours, I have mine,
 And some I have not even been named yet.
Today I had coffee-face feeling;
Some may not understand, but I do.
I had feelings of being constricted by a large snake
Between my chest and my tummy I was being squeezed
Tighter and tighter; without relief.
If there is a feeling word for that,
I don’t know it.
I had a feeling I had better send a loving email.
It was one of my strongest feelings,
So I did it.
I always react to my feelings,
But they are mine.
Not yours.
Don’t tell me you know how I feel.
You don’t.
