It's yummy eve - finely chop some onion, some mushrooms, sdd pate and mix to a paste with double cream - put that on the pastry with the precooked chicken breast on it - wrap in pastry and bake - mmmmmmm:-) hugs jan xx

Oh dear-- that photo is not helping my grumbling tummy at all-- and to think I just ate a burger. I really enjoyed reading your verse, Jan! I have never had chicken wellington though, but I'm able to through your delicious words. I only saw it I think through a Gordon Ramsay show. I still owe you, hopefully soon-- thanks for the patience. Thank you for faving my latest post, wow, I wasn't expecting that! sending hugs!

I had only ever had beef wellington but was worried about not cooking the steaks through properly so I precook the chicken before wrapping it in the pate/mushroom mix and freeze it - it is so tender when it is cooked - mmm am salivating at the thought lol:-) hugs Jan xx

I always make 4 and freeze two so we can enjoy the same meal later in the month - my son doesn't eat them he finds it too rich:-) more for us lol:-) hugs jan xx
