My Favorite Trickster

Only God could convince the atheists
  that He does not exist,
  and prove them wrong....

- How much thought and wonder has not this just been created for humans over time ? - "The existence: I am ... I was not, but I am .- I want to be . - I will not be. - In a small window in the eternity of time, I was there - (RW 1988) " - Great haiku, Keith - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

Many people have good eyesight, and yet they won't see, Keith! For those who really want to understand, you have said a lot in these few lines. I love the comments you have made below! Best regards // paul

So true Paul, there is a story of a native shaman who asked a white man if he believed in the Great Spirit, the man said 'no, I see no proof of God anywhere,' the Shaman replied: ' There are places my people sometimes go that are so beautiful, that should a man not see the Great Spirit in the beauty of things, he is truly lost...' I'm finding sometimes that my replies to comments are just as enjoyable as the writing of the poem itself, this site is brilliant for sharing thoughts and concerns. I appreciate your visit and input Paul:-)

I'm going to have to think on this little ditty for awhile. I believe it is beyond my comprehension, lol. I'm still pondering the dyslexic atheist that doesn't believe there is a dog. A write like this is so profound and deep and twisted that I am in frickin awe! Nicely penned.

Thanks Rhoda, perhaps it is gnosis, and nobody but God and I can understand it --- maybe it would take my brother JC to explain, he is much smarter than me! Thanks for the visit;-)

My friend , I agree with Richard--this is quite the mind bender. Yet it comes full circle back to the reality that if God does not exist-then neither do we! So many top scientists are coming to the conclusion that there is no possibility that this universe is not a created thing. Physics and new revelations scientists are discovering, point to the impossibility that it is by mere happenstance. That is created by design..

Well said Robert; apparently it is over a billion to one chance that the universe was not caused. But some scientists like Richard Dawkins and Stephen Hawkings contend that the universe was ALWAYS here and continues to expand from nothingness. My best friend (who has a bachelor in physics) says the problem is that it is the question of life having a purpose (he very much believes in God) --- if it has purpose it was caused by a great mind. The haiku I wrote I guess is more directed towards atheists and is a bit of levity towards the idea that they are looking in the wrong places. This of course is explained in the Bible.

This is quite the mind bender. The fact that some do not believe doesn’t make God any less real.

Sadly, we will have to wait a while for them to realize how wrong they are, Kieth!

What an awesome point Andrea, and painfully humorous! God always gets the last laugh, as my best friend always says;-)

Does make you think huh? It is somewhat like what Gustave Flaubert once said about writing; the artist, like God, is evident everywhere, but seen nowhere. Atheists demand visual proof for God, but 80% of what we know is unseen. One must find God in their heart and soul to know, rather than perceive; I simply adore Him, my favorite trickster;-)
