My Favorite Dish

My Favorite dish was my first one,
From my early years it is with me.
And it can't be broken let me tell
As it is not of glass you see.

Though mom says I should get rid of it,
I will never think that is fine
Because it's all I have of my childhood possessions,
And brings back so many memories of mine .

Used this plate for many years,
About 8 years to be exact it had been.
It had a picture of a star and moon,
Which is almost faded as it is seen.

I've kept it on the shelf in my room,
Also it won't break if it does fall.
None will have another like it,
It is of sentimental value after all..
