My Favorite Devonshire

~~Backstage Disaster~~

Learned lots of things in theater workshop class
I was surprised when I learned I had passed
Just one tool I'd not mastered
     The great Nail Gun Disaster
I had nailed the director in the _ss

I only come to read a few poems, once a month. After reading Carolyn’s funny limerick, she encouraged the limerick I entered In Pd’s contest.

All her poems are full of inspiration. :D

I am glad to finally see this one, and glad that you won the Devonshire contest. she is a dear lady who can't get here to Soup as often as she used to. I hope you can see more of her in the future. Happy Thanksgiving to you. Let me see just a few more of your poems!

Dominick, thank you for choosing Backstage Disaster. This actually happened when I was in college. Of course, it didn't seem so funny then. Thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your win! Love, Carolyn

Dominix. You choose a superb limerick of Carolyn's and your narrative was touching...It's always great to have poetry role models and it looks like you choose well! Welcome to the Soup too. Gwendolen
