Listen to poem:

My Fate

Lyrics by JT Curtis Performed by Ann Icarus

My Fate

As I sit here in this room
Dark and lonely,
Contemplate
Thinking too much
This can't wait
Carefully planning
My Escape

I write down words
That no one will read
about a love
that no one will feed
So, I'll just sit here
with a pocket of seed
Escaping to a place to
grow

As I sit here in this room
Dark and Lonely
Meditate
Drinking too much
Is it too late
Realizing this is
My fate
