My Far Away River

Don't...
Hold your breath for me...
Don't...
Try my way, you see
I've been going
On this river
For many years I've been rowing
I keep paddling
Up this stream
And getting no where
Or so it seems
But don't bother to look my way
There is nothing you can say
You can't save me
I'm too far gone
You can't save me
I am done

hey, "what did the life guard say to the drowning hippy?" answer "your too far out" can't understand; tell it to a parent.

Cold one, great one! Words feel so human, not like some sort of plastic poetry, but like a real form of speech in here; thanks for sharing!!!
