My Facebook page is all aglow
with notes, from people that I know
friends of mine from here and there
just need a hug, see if you care

Post “I Need a Hug” there on your page
see who responds, it’s all the rage
“I know who’ll answer this” you say
as you post your question of the day

You get a hug or two and then
you post your dinner, where, and when
what you had, and how it tasted
not a bit of it was wasted

Then home you go, and let friends know
the dog was happy, and said hello,
and it was such a tiring day
you need some sleep, so g’nite you’ll say.
