My Everything
You made me smile
You made me fall
With time and patience
You became my all
Always there for me
Even before I knew
I couldn’t see my heart was meant for you
Oblivious at first and often clumsy too
These odd qualities didn’t deter you
You took my hand and opened my eyes
You gave me the most amazing butterflies
You always find ways to make me laugh
Always finding ways to stir and to tease
Yet around you, I always feel comfortable, at ease
At times you drive me crazy, you drive me up the wall
But there’s nothing I would change about you at all
Every day you’re changing my life
You’re my everything, heart feels brand new
Every day I fall further in love with you
